Welcome to my site. You may have found me because you were searching for someone skilled in compassionate and attuned listening to help you skillfully navigate current challenges and transitions.
If you are feeling hopeless in this very moment, take comfort in remembering - nothing stays the same and everyone can heal and change their lives for the better. Yet, sometimes we need guidance and tools so that we can gain clarity, get unstuck, find relief, change our circumstances or transform our view of what is happening; all with the goal of experiencing a deeper, more abiding wellbeing, hope and peace.
I am passionate about offering people practical and cutting edge practices and skills to help them move out of feeling stuck and into confident and creative flow where they can actualize positive, life-enhancing and enduring change in their lives.

I also teach self-care practices to healthcare professionals in group, workshops and one-on-one formats.
I received my Masters of Social Work from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work. I am a faculty member of the Yale Child Study Center and have a private practice in downtown New Haven and on the Shoreline of Connecticut. My integrative practice as psychotherapist, guide, teacher and spiritual mentor is informed by the complementary models of mindfulness, meditation, yoga, somatic experiencing, expressive arts therapy and family constellations. These modalities acknowledge the spiritual and artistic aspects of counseling, personal growth and healing.
It’s essential to find a therapist you are comfortable with. It's also important to find the modes of therapy that match who you are; ones which are proven to be effective for your type of situation and personality. This is why I offer a variety of therapeutic models, which can be tailored toward each persons unique journey toward happiness and integrated wellbeing.

Mindfulness-Based Practices have entered the health care mainstream as proven ways to reduce anxiety, stress, depression, physical pain and improve the immune system.
I incorporate mindfulness into all aspects of my therapy practice because it is an essential life tool. By simply becoming still and relaxed, in a safe environment, we can observe an emotionally challenging situation with more objectivity. We are able to experience thoughts, feelings and sensations as helpful information about our needs and goals instead of problematic and scary.
As we grow in our capacity to befriend and tend our inner experiences, we are able to contact our resilient, authentic, intelligent nature. Being self-attuned, frees us from habitual fear and enables us to imagine more creative ways to respond to people and events. The miracle of mindfulness supports a profound capacity to no longer be afraid of our thoughts and feelings. We learn to honor the wisdom within.
I also integrate, when applicable, breath-work and gentle yoga postures to aid in self-attunement, riding the waves of challenging emotions and overall stress-reduction.
Family Constellations is a powerful experiential model of ancestral, family and generational healing. It lends itself to exploring ancestral past and healing trauma 7 generations before and 7 generations ahead. In a non-judgmental, co-creating, sacred space, the constellation process allows participants to reconnect with loved ones and to heal parts of family, generational and cultural trauma. Through exercises and vignettes, participants will have a chance to clear emotional and energetic blockages, strengthen their capacity for intimacy, increase self-esteem and confidence, actualize their goals, and enhance personal performance.
Participants are able to make deeper and more meaningful connections with their family members, cultural groups, absent family members, co-workers and address divided loyalties. Additionally, the participants may experience a renewed sense of personal awareness, relief, and strength in their physical, emotional and spiritual life. Family Constellations allows people to reconnect with and deepen their roots into the most empowered, hopeful, integrated, attuned aspects of themselves. This healing modality addresses the dilemma (whatever is causing suffering or challenges) by providing a broader perspective, where solutions are discovered and change can occur.
Sometimes you need to be in community with your healing and growth - or you just want to try out different modalities to see if they are a good fit for you.
To this end, I offer the following weekly groups, workshops and live video streams:
Mindfulness and Yoga for Stress Reduction and Emotional Regulation
Each class introduces you to the practices of mindfulness of breath, body, thoughts and emotions. It includes guided meditations and gentle, restorative yoga postures.
Family Constellations
This workshop introduces participants to Family Constellations through the use of vignettes and exercises. Chair yoga is offered at the beginning of the session to help participants relax and be fully present to the transformational potential of this modality. No experience necessary.
Weekly Wellness Group
This group offers a safe, non-judgmental and creative environment to explore body-mind-spirit health and well-being aimed at reducing stress, anxiety and depression and increasing vitality and the capacity to manifest your goals and visions.

Join me online for weekly live video sessions where I will introduce you to the wisdom from ancient teachings made practical for everyday life. The online format offers you a convenient way to honor a weekly practice of cultivating self-attunement, insight and equanimity. The result of this daily practice will be an increase in your capacity to sustain creative, focused and life enhancing energy, release emotional and physical toxins, achieve your full potential and open your heart to your innate joy and peace.
